Mudfork Bio of the Month Jared Sheets

As the front man for Mudfork, Jared draws from his many past music experiences to help Mudfork produce their unique sound.  With 12 years of classical piano as a foundation, Jared didn't start playing guitar until high school.  He has worked with a 50's/60's band, played mandolin in a mountain folk group, and dabbled with country while in college.  While finishing his medical training in Columbus, OH he became taken in by the blues.  "I like the patterns and the structure of blues", says Jared. Jared is a practicing pediatrician and internist in Parkersburg, WV.  He and his wife Laura (also the lead vocalist for Mudfork) have a two year old daughter, Cara.  Jared and Laura are Meigs County, OH natives.
